Nominations for the Keep Living Award
Pressalit Care does not believe in something being impossible. Through our work, we try to limit obstacles through our philosophy: Keep Living. The Keep Living Award contains the essence of our work; it is a way for us to reward the disabled sportsmen who inspire their surroundings with great results and show that there are possibilities even when none seem obvious.
The time for the award is close, and it has been difficult to choose who should be nominated. The Keep Living Award includes DKK 20,000 and is given in a collaboration between Pressalit Care and the Danish Sports Organization for the Disabled (Dansk Handicap Idræts-Forbund). The nominees are as follows:
· The team in Goal Ball consisting of Lykke Vedsted, Karina Jørgensen and Maria Kersting
· The swimmer Karina Lauridsen
· The swimmer Cecilie Kristiansen
· The table tennis player Lars Juul Hansen
· The rider Henrik Sibbesen
The award will handed out by the COO of Pressalit Group, Dan Boyter, February 9, 2010 at Idrættens Hus in Brøndby, Denmark
