ESL Industries plc will be part of the Pressalit Care division. Pressalit Care, like ESL Industries plc, is known for its quality products based on innovative design, specialising in bathroom and kitchen equipment for the elderly and the disabled. The aim of the company is to improve the quality of life for the physically disabled, to enhance healthcare workers' working environments and to provide a better and long-term solution for managers responsible for investment.
As a natural consequence Pressalit Care’s product development is based on the needs of users and also, where appropriate, the needs of their helpers. Today the company operates throughout the world among other things providing service and advice on room arrangement and design. Pressalit Care products are manufactured in Ry in Denmark, the domicile of the company. However, the company is already present on the UK market through its subsidiary, Pressalit Care Ltd., based in Leeds.
ESL Industries plc’s trading company, ESL Healthcare Ltd., provides a full range of products and services for the elderly and for people with special needs. This product range will continue to be marketed in ESL’s own name in the future. Joining the two companies activities will enable us to provide customers with a complete service package, including a broader range of quality products, installation service and extensive post sales support. ESL has a strong market brand and more than ten years’ experience in their field making it an attractive expansion of Pressalit Care’s current portfolio.
The collaboration with current suppliers, contractors and customers will remain undiminished. In addition, Pressalit Care’s products will be made available for sale through ESL’s distribution channels across the UK.
The former Board of Directors at ESL will retire from their positions when Pressalit Care takes over. Erik Boyter, Director of Pressalit Group, will be taking up the position as Managing Director and is looking forward to working with the competent staff at ESL.
