Nina - intern in HRD & Policy

Danish. Employed since 2011.

What makes your job interesting?

The fact that I keep getting challenged. I get treated equally with the others in the department, and I get a lot of responsibility and big assignments, which you often don’t see in other internships.

What values do you find important in your job?

    -  Trust to give responsibility for your own assignments
    -  Contributory influence to choose the assignments
       your are working with
    -  Great flexibility between work and your spare time

How do you experience the corporate values in your daily work?

We listen:
When you have something to say it always well met, and you are even encouraged to bring forth your own contributions and ideas.

We give:
As an intern in Pressalit I am not just seen as free labour. My boss is very good at ensuring that my assignments also is about me gaining something.

We play:
Pressalit provides the right settings for being creative and think outside the box. In my department I experience that there is room for trying out things that sometimes might seem a bit “out there” in order to push to the usual way of doing things.

We act:
Most times thoughts quickly translates into action. When someone has a good idea the space is created to see it through.

Why is Pressalit a good place to work?

Because there is big focus on you learning a lot of things which the school books can’t teach you, and thus you can leave Pressalit carrying a lot of experience. And also because you can tell that you and the work you do is being greatly appreciated.
