Pressalit A/S has a clear policy on the application of aesthetic and functional values to products and thus to the lives of their users. This prioritising of design is one of the factors that have made the company one of the leading European manufacturers of toilet seats.
Pressalit develops its own products primarily to ensure that the range is always wide, varied and attractive, to enable the company to retain and extend its position as the preferred vendor of toilet seats to all levels of the value chain: Architects, consultant engineers, wholesalers, plumbers and end-users.
Amongst Pressalit’s key partners are a number of the biggest manufacturers of ceramic sanitary wares, to which Pressalit develops and produces customised seats for their toilets as specialist subcontractor.
Production in both instances takes place in Pressalit’s own modern plastics factory, which in recent years has seen the introduction of further automation and rationalisation, to ensure the efficient manufacture of large production runs and smaller batches of the more spectacular profile products.

SaniScan A/S
Part of Pressalit A/S is also Saniscan, which is Pressalit A/S' brand for the purpose of sales in the construction industry.
This company, based in Aarhus, has been in business since the early 1980s. In common with Pressalit A/S, its parent company, SaniScan is renowned as a manufacturer of high quality bathroom products.
Saniscan's range includes toilet seats and accessories featuring Danish design and is made here in Denmark – sales parameters that are very important to the company’s customers, who are Danish, Nordic and German DIY stores.
SaniScan’s product range includes universal seats and toilet seats specially designed for the popular Ifö range of toilet shells. In addition to toilet seats, SaniScan A/S also sells bathroom accessories to all DIY stores in Denmark.

Consideration of appearance, form and functionality has gone into every single product - for example, the items we touch, such as mugs and soap dispensers, are made of a hygienic material such as glass.
